Inspired by the famous crest worn by our teams, the Scotland National Team tartan encompasses the pride and passion of the Scottish FA, celebrating all those who play - from the Under-16s to the men’s and women’s international squads. And, because no team is worth more than its fans, it was the Tartan Army who had the final say - so when Gordon Nicolson produced five potential designs in 2017, thousands registered their vote online. The resulting tartan has proven to be a winner with die-hard Scottish FA loyalists and contemporary tartan fans alike.

• Washcare: kilts should only be washed and pressed by specialist dry cleaners. If you're not sure where to go, ask your local pipe band! Or bring it in to GNK and we'll do it for you.

Our kilts are handmade by experienced kiltmakers, to our exacting GNK specifications.
