The Nursing Tartan - One Year On

Celebrating the first fantastic year of The Nursing Tartan on, none other than, International Nurses Day.

In 2020 we were approached by nurses who had studied at The University of Edinburgh and were now working in hospitals throughout the country. They had designed a beautiful tartan which captured, in colour, every nurse of every level working in the profession. Together, we brought The Nursing Tartan to life throughout the hardships of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the hopes of raising money for nursing charities.

We loved Jamie, Georgia and their fellow designers enthusiasm for this cause, their new found love for tartan and their determination to bring it to life while working exceptionally busy schedules - without a second thought, we got on board and got to work.

By International Nurses Day on May 12th 2021, The Nursing Tartan launched and the response was absolutely fantastic. Our products, woven by Lochcarron of Scotland, sold out again and again!
