In our Tartan Directory pages, you will find a large selection of district, contemporary, commemorative and clan tartans, all woven in Scotland by our trusted partner mills. *NB we do not weave tartan ourselves, but work closely with the finest Scottish producers of pure wool tartan cloth - therefore ordering tartan cloth from our directory may be subject to delivery timescales beyond our control.
There are over 12,000 tartans in existence, and new designs are added to the Tartan Register every week. We don't claim to have access to every one - some tartans have been designed privately or are restricted in their use. Others may have have fallen out of favour or are simply out of weave*. And some may not be commercially woven in the particular variation of your choice (learn more about the colours of tartan right here )
* Just because a tartan is out of weave, doesn't mean it's out of the question. But you will have to have at least 10 metres woven to order. Contact us for a quote.
