Recently, in order to meet increasing demand, we have further developed our kiltmaking methods to include a new option for our customers to purchase a Hybrid Kilt. 

Our Hybrid kilts are cut from the same cloth as our handsewn kilts. Your measurements are carefully tailored to in the same meticulous way. Each Hybrid kilt is hand-pleated with the exact same care and attention from our experienced kiltmakers. However, rather than featuring hand-sewn pleats, the pleats on our Hybrid kilts are carefully machine-stitched in place, including individual shaping in each one, ensuring an impeccable fit.  We guarantee that you won't find this elevated standard of machine-finished kiltmaking anywhere else - only GNK Hybrid Kilts are made to GNK's own stringently developed quality standards. 

This innovative new kilt option reduces the time required to create each individual, made-to-measure Hybrid kilt, while still maintaining the reassuringly high standards of craftsmanship only found at Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers.

All our Made-to-Measure kilts are now available as Hybrid or handsewn kilts, simply select your preferred sewing method option when ordering.
