Celebrate the life and legacy of AC/DC’s legendary frontman, Bon Scott, with your own hand-finished Bon Scott Heritage Tartan Kilt by GNK. Bon Scott Heritage and Touring Tartan Kilts are currently available only as hand-finished (machine-sewn) kilts, with a lead time of 12 weeks.

The Bon Scott Heritage tartan was created to commemorate the life of Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott (1946–1980), iconic lead singer of rock band AC/DC.

The tartan is intended to be a representation of his Scottish ancestry, his early influences, and the historic homeland and culture of his family.

After emigrating to Western Australia, Bon never lost the connection to his birthplace and was in fact nicknamed Bon Scott in primary school as a nod to his Scottish roots (Bonnie Scotland).

This unique tartan embodies Bon’s heritage, personality, and style. The colours and pattern are inspired by his strong bond to his birthplace (Kirriemuir) and his wardrobe of choice (denim).

Whether you’re a fan of Bon’s music, Scottish ancestry, or his iconic style, this tartan is a powerful symbol of identity, passion, and rock 'n' roll history.

  • Wash-care: kilts can only be washed and pressed by specialist dry cleaners. If you're not sure where to go, ask your local pipe band! Or bring it in to GNK and we'll do it for you.

Our Bon Scott Collection kilts are traditionally set up and hand-pleated by our experienced kiltmakers, with machine-stitched pleats.

Royal Mail Tracked shipping is £4.95. Royal Mail aim to deliver in 1 - 2 days.

Next Day

Next Day Guaranteed Delivery (1 business day) via DHL courier service is £10. Orders made before 2pm will be sent for delivery the following day. Orders made before 2pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders made after 2pm will be dispatched the next business day. Tracking information is sent automatically to you when the item is shipped. All deliveries are fully insured for any losses or damages. Some locations may not be eligible for next day delivery - we will get in touch if this is the case.
