Book an appointment with an experienced kiltmaker to be measured and have your kilt assessed for alteration. The appointment is for a single kilt assessment and will normally take place at 19-21 St Mary's Street, Edinburgh.
Please note that not all kilts can be altered and some unpicking may be needed to determine the work needed.
No charge will be applied for assessment if an alteration is agreed.
However, if unpicking is needed to fully assess the kilt, then a small charge of £20 may apply for handstitching the kilt closed if an alteration is not possible.
6-8 weeks timescale dependant on work to be completed.
